Catamount Ventures is pleased to announce the closing of its second venture capital fund. Catamount Ventures II, a $24M fund, is true to the core of our original strategy - back outstanding entrepreneurs with high value advice and apply our hands-on approach to company building.

With the early success of our first fund, we are now actively investing out of our new fund. Catamount made several exciting investments already including SignalDemand, CafePress.com, Verdiem, Dynamic Payment Ventures, and Round Two.

In addition, we are proud to report that four of our portfolio firms, eSilicon, Linden Lab, Unicru, and CafePress, were selected by AlwaysOn as part of the Top 100 most innovative and successful private companies.
